Scarlett is a competitor's dream and tons of fun!  She manages to be sweet, loving and cuddly while also possessing a love of 'the game' no matter what the game may be.  She free-baits without bait and will work for play, toys, praise or the sheer fun of 'working'.  She gets excited at the prospect of going to training classes and dog shows.  She acquired her Rally Novice title at 18 months in 3 trys with scores of 100, 93 and 99 (handler errors accounted for the points lost) and a compliment from a judge on the best performance of one of the exercises that she had ever seen.  Scarlett adores children and is not shy about soliciting attention from spectators at shows.  She is frequently complimented as being "beautiful".  Scarlett has excellent conformation with an outstanding front - good shoulder layback, long upper arm, prominent posternum, depth of chest and length of neck.  She is well balanced with excellent angles, plenty of bone and correct gait.  She achieved her UKC conformation champion and 1 leg toward her grandchampion at 15 months with multiple Best in Breeds, Group wins and a Reserve Best in Show!  In 2013 Scarlett will continue to compete in Rally and Conformation (UKC and AKC) as well as Obedience and Agility (after age 2year hip and elbow clearances).  Scarlett has also done some field training and may try out Hunt and/or Tracking work too.
